Policies
Deposits:
A 50% deposit is required at the time of event booking. The deposit is based upon the projected total invoice for your event.
Cancellations:
Deposits are refunded in full if event is cancelled with 10 or more days notice.
Payment:
Balance (invoice total minus deposit) is due in full on the day of the party
Payment may be cash, personal check or Zelle. Sapori d'Ithalia does not accept credit cards.
Deadlines:
There will be no additions to the headcount within 3 days of the event.
Menu plan must be approved at least 7 days in advance of the event date.
Allergies or dietary restrictions of a guest are needed with a minimum of 7 days notice.
Agreements:
- Sapori d’Ithalia provides all groceries necessary for preparing the meal along with cooking utensils.
- Sapori d’Ithalia request that countertops in the kitchen are cleaned to allow space for cooking.
- Sapori d’Ithalia request access to your kitchen at least 5 hours prior to event start time.
- Sapori d’Ithalia request that all appliances will be in working order.
- Sapori d’Ithalia will return the kitchen to the clean state in which it was found prior to leaving.
- The client will provide full access to the kitchen throughout cooking period.
- The client will provide all the beverages to be served during the event.
- The client will provide all platters, serving ware, plate, flatware, glassware, and napkins.
Additional Services - Free:
Sapori d'Ithalia will arrange special equipment or décor rentals at additional cost.
Sapori d'Ithalia will plate and serve all meals, per agreement terms.
Sapori d'Ithalia will assist with locating a licensed alcohol distributor/bartender.
Sapori d'Ithalia will set the table professionally, according to event format.
Assistants:
Sapori d'Ithalia will hire additional help as needed for cooking and serving services.
Services Not Available:
Sapori d'Ithalia is not a licensed alcohol distributor.
Sapori d'Ithalia is unable to purchase or serve alcoholic beverages.
