Apericena
My favorite family time!
APERITIVO + CENA = APERICENA (Happy hour)
The word Apericena comes from the fusion between the words Aperitivo (Pre-meal drink) and Cena (Dinner) precisely because it is a way of eating that is halfway between an aperitivo and a dinner. It is an easier way to eat than dinner but takes place at the same time as dinner or earlier.
Do you want an authentic Italian Apericena to toast with your friends? This is the right place! Chef Thalia will plan and prepare for you typical fingerfoods and small plates to eat standing or seating, talking with friends and drinking good wine. Chef Thalia can suggest you what kind of beverage you can drink but you will provide the alcohol.
Some examples of fingerfoods:
- Tagliere di affettati: selection of cold cuts (prosciutto, sopressata, mortadella...)
- Tagliere di formaggi: cheese board
- Prosciutto e melone: prosciutto and melon
- Crostini (salmon, mashrooms, tomatos and mozzarella, gorgonzola and nuts...)
- Bruschette
- Pizzette
- Hummus
- Polpette di pesce o di carne: meat balls or fish balls
- Polenta con salse: polenta with different souces
- Insalata di farro: farro salad
